WHO ARE PAT & MARK?

WHAT IS RAGS?

Pat Mendonca and Mark Rigsby have been playing music together since 1971. Yeah. That’s a long time.

RAGS

RAGS is the band Pat & Mark started the year after they graduated from high school. Many bandmates have come and gone over the years. Wonderful friends. Talented musicians all. “There is nothing better than playing music with your friends in front of a live audience.” Truth.

RAGS is still going strong with these four guys: Pat, Mark, Bill Carey (bass), and Andy Conversano (drums). Covers of classic rock, blues, country, soul, and more. Songs you stop for as you surf music channels. Stuff you forgot you needed to hear again. Deep cuts that become instant favorites. Rhythms that compel dancers to hit the dance floor. Guests will stay and have one more round. And when that round is done, they’ll order one more. And maybe another.

PAT & MARK

Pat & Mark often play as an acoustic duo. In the last couple years, they have played gigs at venues such as Anchor Bar, Old Angler’s Inn, Glade Valley Corn Maze, Olney Beer & Wine, Brews & Barrels, Wheaton Moose Lodge, Lone Oak Brewery, Linganore Winery, Grape Escape, and Vine Alley.

In addition to the classic rock, blues, country, and soul music of RAGS, Pat & Mark blend in a few folk songs, standards, and other styles. The acoustic duo format is suitable for any size venue and cross section of audience ages. Indoors. Outdoors. Bars, breweries, and wineries. Private parties and social clubs. Festivals and farmers markets. And Pat & Mark frequently hit open mics where they try out new material, enjoy an adult beverage, and hang with friends. (And the only stuff they have to schlep in and out are guitars!)

MAJOR LEAGUE FUN

The blast we have on stage is highly contagious. The audience will smile. And that’s a good thing. For us. For them. For you.
